Ever wonder about the Upper Soda Springs Resort?

Tauhindali Park in north Dunsmuir now has a new walking tour and twenty-five new informational signs, explaining the history and natural features of the Park at Tauhindauli Park, Upper Soda Road, Dunsmuir, CA. Angel Gomez, whose family owned this property for over 100 years before it became a park, will take us on a 45 min – 1hr walking tour of Tauhindali Park in north Dunsmuir, CA, at 9 a.m., $5 donation.

Donations benefit the Mt. Shasta Sisson Museum and the Dunsmuir Garden Club, lead agency on the Tauhindauli Park project 2001.

Join us for stories of strong women!

The pioneer women who lived in Northern California in the 1800s often braved hardship and tragedy to make a life for themselves and their families. One of these women was Elda McCloud Masson, the subject Angel Gomez’s presentation hosted by Mt. Shasta Sisson Museum, 1 N Old Stage Rd, Mt Shasta, CA at 7 p.m., $5 donation.
