One of the Wonders of Mount Shasta

Lenticulars are a fantastic kind of cloud. They are not unique to Mt. Shasta, but this is one of the best places on earth to see these unusual cloud formations.

Many stories of UFO’s have started with lenticular clouds, since they do tend to look like what we think of as spaceships in fiction and movies.

One of the Mt Shasta area legends is that when there is a big lenticular over the mountain, the Lemurian Mothership is visiting, hidden inside the cloud!

You can see many spectacular photos of lenticular clouds in our exhibit while also learning a bit about what they are and how they form.

Who knows, you may even get lucky and see a real lenticular form while you are visiting Mt. Shasta!

While seeing a lenticular cloud in person is impressive, photos have their own special pull, showcasing the beauty and mystery of this natural phenomenon. Our exhibit is one-of-a-kind and not to be missed!
